Biodiesel:

Biodiesel is one of the fastest growing alternative energy sectors in the world. Biodiesel can be used in any diesel engine, either as B100 biodiesel (100%) or mixed with conventional diesel. It is composed of either animal fat or vegetable oil, which then goes through a chemical process in which the heavy alcohol glycerol is replaced with a light alcohol (methanol or ethanol), resulting in the production of biodiesel. In conjunction with our partners, we offer refineries that are as small as 1000 liters per day (250 US gallons), to refineries that can produce up to 6 million liters (19000 liter per day) plus per year. Our 19000 liter per day refinery is scalable allowing us to build a refinery to meet any feedstock production needs.

The key to a successful biodiesel operation is the selection and availability of feedstock. One of the major problems biodiesel refineries face is being able to source enough feedstock oil to run their biodiesel refinery at near capacity. Nereus's solution is twofold: First, we offer different sizes of biodiesel refineries from our small community based 1000 liter per day refinery to our 19000 liter per day processors which can be scale to meet your refining needs. Second, our larger refinery has an optional pretreatment package which allows biodiesel manufacturers to process feedstock with acid levels as high as 90%.

NG19000 Biodiesel Refinery:

This quality built biodiesel refinery gives producer that ability to grow with the market. One of the major problems in the industry is that a lot of producers have built over capacity refineries beyond what they can source for feedstock. The NG19000 is design to be scalable so that more processing lines can be added as feedstock sources become available. The NG19000 is capable of producing ASTM biodiesel and with its optional free fatty acid unit it can process very high acid oil such as waste vegetabel oil. Process unit includes the following equipment (Each processor processes 800 liters per hour or 19200 liters in a 24 hour period):

SSI 250 Biodiesel Refinery:

This quality built, semi-automatic biodiesel processor is an excellent processor for individuals, co-ops, small businesses and independent production for agricultural & transportation industries. Utilizing the stainless steel construction, the timely heating capabilities and a dry-wash system allows you to produce quality biodiesel fuel in as little as 24 hours. This refinery produces 1000 liters per day.
